Our Summer Urban Garden Camp aims to:

  • Feel a sense of connection with the soil and organisms that depend on it.
  • Plant and maintain butterfly, vegetable, herb, and shade gardens.

  • Observe the life cycles of plants and animals.

  • Study the purpose, parts, and reproduction of plants.

  • Study the ecology of the garden e.g. plants, insects, microbes, water, etc.
  • Prepare and eat food harvested from the vegetable and herb gardens.
  • Engage in enjoyable trips related to plants and animals, and fun physical activities.
